How do the new size and helplines work?
A ruler can be found in the drawing library under the category: Text label and guides. By placing this ruler in the design, distances between e.g. a row of trees can be determined very easily.
When you draw the ruler parallel to an already drawn surface, a red line will be displayed. This indicates that the line is exactly flush with the adjacent surface, even if they are oblique lines.
Auxiliary lines
Also useful are the newly added guides. For example, if you have placed a tree and want to drag it to the right spot, guide lines indicate whether the tree is in the center of another object or tree.
Grouped Moving
To move or copy multiple objects at once, use the mouse to drag a rectangle over the objects you want to move. Make sure the objects are completely inside the rectangle. After dragging the rectangle to size, the objects are highlighted and you can move or copy them.
Tip: Use the arrows on the keyboard to place objects in the right place in the garden design.
