Spring preparing the border

Henri's tips on spring plant border preparation

  • First, it's time for the rough work. Remove all the leaves from the border. Clear the border of leaves with a wire rake.
  • Then rake the soil well with a trident. This way, you aerate the top layer of the soil, allowing lime and fertilizers to reach the plant roots better.
  • Spreading lime is good for acidity. Lime also allows for better absorption of fertilizers. It gives the plants a boost!
